Rated 1 out of 5 by from All but impossible to release Thought I might have purchased a good ratchet strap. I was totally wrong. These have an aluminium frame which warped (spred) after the first use. This made it impossible to release the handle and loosen the strap. The handle frame spred enough that the ratchet will not release. Ended up having to release both catches and hold them while trying to loosen the strap. As soon as you released the catch on the short side it would wedge back between the handles and it was impossible to pull the strap. I think I used or tried to use them twice. They were not used for any type of heavy duty tasks. I will salvage the straps. The frames will end up in the trash. The aluminium frame straps are junk and not worth the money in my opinion.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Decent strap These straps are good quality. Appears the ratchets are out of spec. They do not release and require a screw driver or pliers to release them. I feel for the price there are better options.
